We had a great day on Labor Day with the Wilsons. We went to Roosevelt Lake with them, and Sydnee brought Ansley. The weather was great, there were no crowds, the water was decent. In my opinion, if you're going to go to the lake on a weekend (or certainly on a holiday weekend) there is no other choice but to go to Roosevelt.
Lindsey got up and was able to clear one side of the wake. Next time we go out, I'm sure she'll be able to clear both sides.
The biggest news of the whole day though was Sydnee. She crossed both sides of the wake many times; thus earning herself a new wakeboard. Sydnee made me sign a contract months ago (and yes, she literally typed up a contract and ambushed me one day and under duress forced me to sign it) promising to buy her a pink wakeboard like her friend Ansley's if she was able to cross both sides of the wake. So this week, she earned it. Congratulations Sydnee. Now if you're dad could just get a job so he could afford that wakeboard!
