Weather

I have to document how great this weather has been because I know when winter rolls around I am going to be hating it. Sydnee just told me it is too cold to go out and lay on the hammock! We are such wimps - it's seventy three degrees and getting ready to storm. Very breezy and so beautiful outside. I can hear all of the leaves rustling, my windows are open, my house smells like rain, and it is just gorgeous here! I just need to document so I can get through the winter. We missed Spring here, we haven't been through a Fall yet but I'm sure it will be beautiful, and Summer is great. Just a handful of too humid days. At night when Del get's home from work we go out on our back porch and I usually have a blanket. He is a little worried about me in the Winter if I'm wrapped in a blanket in August.

Carli and Mojo

Carli and Mojo are close...sometimes I think too close! Bedtime is not a good time for Carli. She hates going to bed in her own room so she tries to fall asleep other places. Sometimes it's her sister's beds, my bed, the couch, or wherever. The other night we were watching the Olympics in my room and Mojo's bed is in the corner. She laid down on it (which I think is kinda gross but whatever) and fell asleep. You can tell in the pictures that Mojo was bugged! She was smashing him and he couldn't really get comfortable. He finally squeezed out from underneath her and went and laid on the floor. Then he got up and stood by her looking at me and then at her. I'm sure he was wondering if he was going to get his bed back. I finally put her in bed and we all slept great!

Lemonade 4 Sale

Lindsey and Carli decided to have a lemonade sale. They didn't do very well because it was only about 75 degrees. I think they made about 5 bucks but they sure had fun!

Happy News

Sydnee has been trying out for the 7th grade volleyball team for the last three days and found out today she made it! Yeah! We are so so so proud of her. She really worked hard practicing her serves. We went to Atlanta last week and Del and Marci have a racquetball court at their house. We played wallyball everyday and she was able to practice hitting a lot. I purposely didn't put my make up on this morning knowing that I would probably have tears either way! My stomach was in knots because I knew how bad she wanted to make it. I'm so excited f or her because it will make it easier going to a new school. She starts practice next week at 8:00 so I guess we will have some help getting back on a morning schedule! School starts in a couple of weeks here.

Cousins

The girls are having so much fun with all of their cousins. We haven't seen Reed and Andrea's kids for about 9 months and it's been a few months since we've seen Jon and Courtney's kids. They were having lots of fun last night and I snapped a quick picture.

Road Trip

We are on our way down to Atlanta right now in the motorhome. I am so mad that I forgot my cord to put pics from my camera onto my blog so I will have to post pictures later. Del is happily driving us while the kids' music is blasting. They are making a dance up at the moment. Pretty cool that a 12 hour drive can turn into a dance party. We left our house last night when Del got home from work and drove until he was tired. We stopped to sleep at a Wal-Mart parking lot because they allow overnight parking for RV's for one night. This is our first family trip in the motorhome and so far so good! The kids are definitely entertained. They have been playing the Wii, making cards for their cousins, and of course dancing. We brought Mojo because we didn't have anyone to leave him with. I think he figures since he has logged more hours in the motorhome with Del (their long drive out from AZ to OH) he should sit in the front seat instead of me. Everytime I get up he immediately jumps up into my chair! I found a Barnes and Noble to pick up the book 'Breaking Dawn' that just came out today which I'm excited to read. I love having a good book to look forward to on a road trip!
